Throughout ones life, family interaction influences a person in more ways than one could describe. My family environment has taught me many things, including personal responsibility, morality, and self-esteem. But the most important thing my family has taught me is that you dont have to like every aspect of a person to love them. You may disagree with someones opinions, how they dress, or how they act with the opposite sex, but in the end, that persons good qualities will more than likely outweigh their bad ones. I not only try to apply this idea to my family, but to my friends as well. I believe that people put too much focus on a persons faults rather than on their strengths. I always try to recognize the positive and not the negative in people. My family environment has influenced me to be the best I can be and to see the best in everyone else. People need to learn how to agree to disagree, because after all, isnt that what love is all about?
